BOGDAN WON A TENDER ON PRODUCING MODERN LOW-FLOOR TROLLEYBUSES FOR SUMY

Car-assembly plant #1 in Lutsk is going to produce 4 low-floor 12-meters-long trolleybuses for the city of Sumy. The enterprise’s bid has won a tender due to high quality of vehicles and reasonable price – Bogdan’s press-service informs.
 
«Four years ago 9 «Bogdan T70117» trolleybuses had been produced for Sumy. This year the city’s trolleybus fleet will get 4 modern vehicles more. They will guarantee comfort and safety for passengers», - the press-service notes.
 
12-meters-long low-floor trolleybuses by Bogdan accommodate 105 passengers. They are suitable for passengers with limited mobility, including persons with disabilities. The vehicles are equipped with wheelchair ramps and wheelchair fixing systems in passenger compartment.
 
It should be reminded that Bogdan collaborates with local self-governments in the frameworks of “Urban public transport in Ukraine” project, financed by EBRD and European Investment Bank. Comfortable low-floor buses and trolleybuses have already become a part of urban landscape in a number of Ukrainian cities. Besides, this year Bogdan won several tenders on manufacturing low-floor trolleybuses for Kyiv and Kharkiv.
