SE “Auto Assembly Plant № 1” has fully fulfilled the contract for the supply of 19 trolleybuses “Bogdan T70117” to the city of Sumy. On December 10, 2021, the last trolleybus “Bogdan T70117” was shipped from the Lutsk Automobile Plant from the ordered batch with a total amount of 19 units.
An agreement on the supply of 19 units of Bogdan T70117 trolleybuses was signed between the Subsidiary Avtoskladalny Zavod № 1 and the Sumy City Council utility company Elektroavtotrans on June 23, 2020. The city purchased the trolleybuses as part of a joint project with the European Investment Bank “Urban Public Transport of Ukraine”.
Bogdan T70117 is a 12-meter low-floor trolleybus designed for urban use, with a total passenger capacity of 105 people, including 34 seats. The trolleybus is convenient for use for passengers of a priority category as it is equipped with a special folding ramp, and also fastening for fixing of the cart in a cabin.
It should be noted that the trolleybus fleet of Sumy will now include 35 trolleybuses manufactured by the Lutsk Bogdan car plant.
